Read a book to kids before sleep
Your child often asks you to read and reread the same story every night? Well, this is perfectly normal and beneficial for your little one! An article on the website psychology.com tells us "why children like to read and reread the same stories".

We often think, wrongly, that children's books are simplistic, but in fact they would contain 50% more rare words than a TV show (in prime time) or a conversation between students! It's a funny thing, but for example, if you read the book Good Night, you have to admit that in everyday life, it's quite rare to talk about the dodo, the endemic bird of Mauritius now extinct, or a yeti who goes snowboarding, or a unicorn with glasses who drinks his tea sitting on a rock in the jungle, haha! (although the word "unicorn" is a word that has become quite popular lately).
All this to say, that for children, it is important to read and reread the same story regularly, because they assimilate the vocabulary better and better, they take ownership of the story, they understand better situations, expressions and emotions. Even if for us, adults, it can be a bit boring to read and reread the same story, remember that for your child it is an important step in his discovery of the world!
